Hi all. Has anyone got this problem:- ?

I have just installed Pluscom SDIO 54Mb 802.11 b/g card to my HTC Cheetah on WM6 Pro and I get no network option to configure the card in start/settings/connections. I was running a sleeved down version of WM6 so I loaded the full retail version as supplied by Palm in the UK hoping this would sort it...it didn't.

Thus far, I can only assume that it is a compatibility issue with either WM6 or the AKU that is supplied by Palm.

Does anyone have any experience of this with WM6 on this hardware?

Lastly, does anyone have a successful install onto WM5 where they could give me the registry entries and file locations? A big ask I know but...

Thanks
Eden

This is the compatibility issue as "Pluscom 54Mbps 802.11 b/g SDIO card" doesn't support Windows Mobile 6 (WM6).

The card support Pocket PC 2003, Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0, Win CE 4.2 and 5.0

Can you confirm that if I load a WM5 ROM the SDIO driver will install correctly on this hardware?

As the vast majority of PDA's sold now run WM6, can I assume that you will be developing drivers for this card in the near future?

If there is SDIO slot on your PDA and the PDA support standard SDIO cards then definitely the card will work there when you install Windows Mobile 5.

Sorry we don't have any intention to develop a driver for WM6 currently, if we develop the same in future then you'll be informed on this forum.
